Since reopening the practice on the 15 June we have been working our way through the backlog of urgent treatments and will shortly be in a position to start providing regular routine dental care and treatments.

However, working within the infection control guidelines provided by the governing bodies the safety precautions which have needed to be put in place to protect both you and our team will greatly restrict the number of appointments available at the practice.

PLEASE NOTE, unless you have recently been contacted by our Patient Care Team to confirm your appointment, ALL regular dental care (i.e. Checkups and Hygienist appointments) have been postponed.

Please be assured we have not forgotten you, and our Patient Care Team will contact you as soon as we are in a position to offer you an appointment for your routine dental care, so you do not need to call us unless you have an emergency.

We fully understand any frustrations you may have that we cannot offer you exact time frames for your next routine dental examination, and unfortunately we do envisage a significant delay before your next appointment due to the backlog caused by the near 3 months closure.

Please only attend the practice if your appointment has been confirmed by our Patient Care Team as you will not be able to gain entry.

Once again we thank you for your patience and understanding our Patient Care Team can be contacted by telephone or email from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 9.00am to 2.00pm.

Step 1 - Contacting the Practice

We ask that you do not attend the practice as you will not be able to gain entry without an appointment.

We would recommend if your enquiry is non urgent to call later in the day as our telephones are extremely busy in the mornings.

Step 2 - Triaging your Enquiry

Our patient care team will take details of your enquiry, provide advice and if necessary will pass your details on to one of our dentists who will telephone you, normally within 1 hour.

When our dentist calls you they will assess your needs for any specific urgent care requirements.

If our dentist recommends that you need to visit the practice they will first carry out a patient risk assessment and then book you an appointment to visit the practice which in most cases will be the next working day.

Step 3 - Visiting the Practice

Prior to visiting the practice for your emergency treatment our patient care team will first telephone you and advise you as to how your visit will be managed and what is expected from you and cover any questions you may have. This is necessary to help reduce any risk to you or our team.
