Childrens Dental Health Event

Saturday 2nd August was a big day for us at Active Smile Dental Surgery  and what a fantastic turnout!
We were delighted to welcome so many local families to our childrens Open Day, created to help children feel more confident at the dentist and to share simple, friendly advice about looking after little teeth.

What Happened on the Day?

Families explored the practice at their own pace, visiting our interactive dental rooms:

• Brushing Bay – where children learned how to brush properly with fun tips and demos

• The Dentist Den – a calm, hands-on way to sit in the chair and meet our friendly dentists

• Sugar Shock Surgery – revealing how much sugar is hiding in everyday snacks and drinks

• Colouring Corner – keeping little hands busy with dental-themed colouring fun
