How Much Do Dental Implants Cost in Evesham? A 2026 Price Guide

Losing a tooth can affect far more than just your smile. It can impact your confidence, make eating certain foods difficult and even lead to changes in your facial appearance over time. Fortunately, dental implants offer a long-lasting, natural-looking solution for replacing missing teeth. One of the first questions we hear from patients is, “How much do dental implants cost?”

The honest answer is that it depends. Every patient’s smile is unique, and several factors influence the final cost of treatment. In this guide, we’ll explain what dental implants are, what affects the cost, what’s usually included in your treatment, and why choosing the right implant provider is just as important as the price itself.

What are Dental Implants?

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root, usually made from medical-grade titanium, that is placed into the jawbone. Over time, the implant naturally bonds with the surrounding bone, creating a stable foundation for a replacement tooth.

A complete dental implant consists of three parts:

  • The implant – the titanium post placed in the jawbone.
  • The abutment – a connector that attaches to the implant.
  • The crown – the custom-made replacement tooth that matches your natural smile.

Once complete, a dental implant looks, feels and functions very much like a natural tooth.

Why Are Dental Implants So Popular?

Dental implants are considered the gold standard for replacing missing teeth because they:

  • Look natural
  • Feel secure
  • Restore chewing ability
  • Help preserve the jawbone
  • Prevent neighbouring teeth from drifting
  • Can last for many years with proper care

Unlike removable dentures, implants are fixed in place, allowing you to eat, smile and speak with confidence.

How Much Do Dental Implants Cost in the UK?

In 2026, a single dental implant in the UK typically costs between £1,800 and £3,500, depending on the clinic, the complexity of treatment and what is included in the price.

If you’ve searched online, you’ve probably seen prices advertised from under £1,000. These offers often refer to the implant placement alone and may not include the abutment, crown, CBCT scan or any additional procedures that could be needed.

Why Do Implant Prices Vary?

No two implant cases are exactly the same. Several factors influence the overall cost of treatment.

1. The Number of Missing Teeth

Replacing one missing tooth is usually more straightforward than replacing several teeth or an entire arch.

If you’re missing multiple teeth, your dentist may recommend:

  • Individual implants
  • An implant-supported bridge
  • Full-arch implant solutions

Each option has different planning requirements and costs.

2. Bone Quality

Dental implants rely on healthy jawbone for support.

If you’ve been missing a tooth for a long time, the surrounding bone may have shrunk.

Some patients require:

  • Bone grafting
  • Sinus lift procedures
  • Additional healing time

These treatments improve the long-term success of the implant but may increase the overall cost.

3. Advanced Digital Planning

Modern implant dentistry is highly precise.

At Active Smile, digital planning technology helps ensure implants are positioned accurately.

This may include:

  • Digital scans
  • CBCT (3D) imaging
  • Digital smile planning
  • Computer-guided treatment planning

These technologies improve safety, accuracy and long-term outcomes.

4. Materials Used

Not all implants are the same. Established implant systems have decades of clinical research behind them and are supported by long-term evidence.

The final crown is also custom-made to match the colour, shape and appearance of your natural teeth. Higher-quality materials often provide better aesthetics, durability and long-term reliability.

5. The Experience of the Clinician

Dental implants require advanced training and careful planning. Choosing an experienced clinician can make a significant difference to the outcome of your treatment.

Rather than focusing solely on price, it’s worth considering:

  • Experience
  • Qualifications
  • Technology
  • Patient reviews
  • Ongoing support

What Is Usually Included in the Cost?

When comparing quotes, it’s important to understand exactly what’s included.

Many implant treatments include:

  • Initial consultation
  • Clinical examination
  • Digital X-rays
  • CBCT scan (where required)
  • Implant placement
  • Healing appointments
  • Abutment
  • Custom-made crown
  • Review appointments

Always ask whether the quoted price is for the complete treatment or only part of the process.

Are Dental Implants Worth the Cost?

Although implants require a greater initial investment than some alternatives, many patients consider them excellent value because of their longevity and the benefits they provide.

Unlike bridges, implants don’t usually require healthy neighbouring teeth to be prepared. Unlike removable dentures, they don’t move around while eating or speaking.  With good oral hygiene and regular dental care, dental implants can provide a durable, long-term solution for replacing missing teeth.

How Long Does Implant Treatment Take?

Every patient’s treatment is different.

A typical implant journey may include:

Consultation

We’ll examine your mouth, discuss your goals and determine whether implants are the right option for you.

Digital Planning

If suitable, we’ll carry out digital scans and, where appropriate, a CBCT scan to assess the bone and surrounding structures.

Implant Placement

The implant is carefully placed into the jawbone under local anaesthetic. Most patients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the procedure is.

Healing

Over the following few months, the implant bonds naturally with the surrounding bone in a process known as osseointegration.

Final Restoration

Once healing is complete, your custom-made crown is fitted, completing your new smile.

Can Anyone Have Dental Implants?

Many adults are suitable candidates for implant treatment.

Good candidates generally:

  • Have healthy gums
  • Have sufficient jawbone
  • Maintain good oral hygiene
  • Are in good general health

If additional treatment is required before implant placement, your dentist will explain all available options.

Looking After Your Dental Implant

Dental implants are designed to be long-lasting, but they still require regular care.

We recommend:

  • Brushing twice daily
  • Cleaning between your teeth every day
  • Attending regular dental examinations
  • Seeing your hygienist regularly
  • Avoiding smoking where possible

Looking after your implant is much like looking after your natural teeth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are dental implants painful?

Most patients report that implant treatment is more comfortable than they expected. Local anaesthetic is used during the procedure, and any mild discomfort afterwards can usually be managed with over-the-counter pain relief.

How long do dental implants last?

With good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups, dental implants can last for many years. The implant itself is designed to be a long-term solution, while the crown may need replacing after many years due to normal wear.

Can I replace more than one tooth?

Yes.

Dental implants can replace:

  • A single tooth
  • Several missing teeth
  • An entire arch of teeth

Your dentist will recommend the most appropriate treatment based on your individual needs.

Are implants available on the NHS?

Dental implants are generally provided privately. NHS-funded implants are available only in limited circumstances, such as specific medical or trauma-related cases.
