Bethan has a broad range of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, managing and treating a wide range of conditions. She is very good with anxious patients supporting them through procedures with her gentle and encouraging manor. Bethan graduated from the University of Birmingham Dental School in 2016. She undertook further training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. She has also gained her diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England.
She works part time here at Active Smile Dental Surgery and for Worcester Acute hospital trust as a Speciality Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Do I need a check-up before treatment? .
Yes – all patients must first have a full dental assessment, which costs £74. This includes: A full examination of your mouth and teeth Any necessary X-rays A discussion of treatment options If an extraction is needed and the dentist has time during that appointment, we may be able to carry it out there and then.
How quickly can I be seen?
We regularly have availability within a few days and occasionally sooner. While same-day appointments are not guaranteed, we aim to prioritise patients in pain whenever possible.
