Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Manchester University and began working at the practice as a trainee over 30 years ago, where she’s remained ever since. Her approach to dentistry is holistic, focusing on how oral health impacts overall well-being. Claire primarily works with independent patients, emphasising preventative care and partnering with them to maintain lifelong dental health.

Kamila qualified as a dentist in 2001 from Poznan University in Poland and has been with the practice since 2006. Specialising in cosmetic dentistry, she is the go-to dentist for patients seeking to enhance their smiles. Kamila begins each aesthetic journey with a consultation to understand the patient's concerns and expectations, explaining the pros and cons of treatments, showing examples, and offering guidance on maintaining a healthy smile.

Treana qualified as a dentist in 2011 from the University of Liverpool, after earning an Honours Degree in Biomedical Science. She joined the practice in 2018 and has since completed a year-long aesthetics course in London covering bridges, veneers, and composites. Treana also received the TC White award for her membership exam with the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow. She values building strong patient relationships to ensure comfort and support lifelong dental health.

Naqeeba qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2019 and joined the practice in June 2021. She provides general Independent and NHS dental care, focusing on building rapport with patients to help them feel at ease. Naqeeba emphasises oral health education and the importance of home care. She enjoys offering all aspects of dentistry, from improving gum health to tooth whitening, and works with patients to maintain lifelong dental health.

Hiba qualified as a dentist in 2019 from the University of Birmingham and joined Active Smile in 2021. She is committed to further education, becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and completing coaching and mentoring training for newly qualified dentists. Hiba focuses on patient collaboration to improve oral health, ensuring treatments are patient-centered. She particularly enjoys working with children, providing cosmetic treatments, and ensuring patients feel comfortable during their appointments.

Jas has been working as a dentist for 20 years after achieving his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’. Throughout his career, Jas has developed a special interest for orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry, which is why patients choose to come to him if they want a brighter, straighter smile. When it comes to straightening a patient’s teeth, Jas likes to focus on preserving the natural tooth. Jas splits his surgery time between Active Smile Evesham, Cool Smiles Evesham and Cannon street Dental Centre London.

Nigel qualified with a Bachelor of Dentistry from Cardiff University in 1987 and joined our practice in 2018. He has a special interest in oral surgery and dental implants, bringing years of global experience to his work. Alongside practice work, Nigel teaches Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons and assesses their diploma course. He focuses on providing high-quality care, helping patients achieve long-term oral health and confidence in their smiles.

Martin is a highly experienced Clinical Dental Technician (CDT) who graduated from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in Preston in July 2021. With over 30 years of experience as a dental lab technician and 15 years of clinical experience working alongside dentists, Martin brings a wealth of expertise and precision to every case. He sees patients with us each week, providing hands-on denture services, and also runs his own dental laboratory in Birmingham. Martin’s combination of technical skill and patient-focused care makes him an invaluable member of our team.

Jo is an experienced Dental Hygienist, qualifying from Birmingham Dental Hospital, School of Dental Hygiene, with awards for Clinical Excellence and Oral Health Education in 1997. She has worked at the practice for over 24 years, building strong relationships with her patients. Jo focuses on preventive care, helping patients maintain a healthy mouth while providing support to those anxious about dental treatment with a calm and gentle approach. Her dedication to oral health education ensures that every patient feels confident and comfortable during their visits. Jo’s friendly and professional demeanor creates a reassuring environment, making every visit a positive experience.

Sachee graduated from the Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 2016 and brings years of experience in preventive dental care. She joined Active Smile in November 2024 as a Dental Hygienist. Before joining Active Smile, Sachee worked at the Preventive Oral Health Unit in Sri Lanka, where she was dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. She has extensive experience in treating anxious patients, always ensuring they receive gentle, compassionate care. Sachee is passionate about educating patients on oral hygiene and providing tailored preventive treatments to maintain healthy smiles. Her friendly and professional approach makes every visit comfortable and reassuring.
